Do these three hose clamps have a specific use? I have part numbers but still can not find of them on the internet. 1) Clampco c410c-75-400-s 2) Ideal 300-ss 3) RG Ray 700-30
The middle clamp has another name (other than v-band) - which I of course can't remember at the moment. Named after the guy who invented them I think. Kind of an interesting history if I recall.
Had to look it up as it was annoying me, Marman clamp.
They are used all over I guess, but mostly I run into them on Mopar exhaust manifolds, Ford turbo diesel trucks (first and second pictured clamp type on those) and sometimes on older industrial gas engines.
