Hose reel inlet thread size

Going to install a Harbor freight hose reel which I do not have the instructions if there where ever any.
Measuring the air inlet female I get ~ .450" is that a 1/4 NPT fitting that I need ?

P.S. Is there such a thing as fine thread NPT as the threads do look fine ?

1/4 npt male taper is about .500 od so yes
