I see the 50ft Kobalt hose reel is $50 at Lowes. Anyone have any experience with the one from Lowes? Does it hold up?

I've had a HF 25ft for years and never had a problem with it. The HF 50ft is $58.

I saw that one in-store the last time they had them in (prior to BF & also at the same exact $49).....the reel is very lightweight & flimsy compared to a normal reel. DIY/Homeowner occasional use would be "ok", but not for any long-term consistent use.

We had those in the shop I used to work in, needed reels cheap and quick and they fit the bill.

The hoses were hot garbage as would be expected, and got replaced with Flexzilla... looks like they now come with a knockoff version? Surprisingly they lasted the better part of 3 years, but they were pretty damn flimsy.

I don't know if its the same model but I bought one at a box store and its been good. Its been all of 15 years but t doesn't get used a lot. Home Depot or TSC may have a competing model, this one is heavy.
