I purchased 3 years ago a Hot Dawg 45 which is for 400-600sq. ft. I am now building a new garage that will be 840sq. ft.

What are the problems I am going to run into if I stay with this size heater or should I upgrade to the next size up ?

I am in S. Calif. so I am not talking freezing here, if we get down to low 30's at night its only a few weeks of the years but I do like to keep my garage at around 50 when not working in there. It will be well insulated when finished.

I am thinking I will try it this winter anyway just since I already own the thing and I assume it will just run longer but work just fine but thought I would ask first.

Thanks Stitch, that heat calculator says I will be just fine.

Final inspection is "scheduled" for Tuesday so I will find out soon.
