Personally I like this thread better. You can see all of the hot deals in one thread instead of scrolling multiple threads. If you don't like the chatter just scroll past it. Much easier I think with it all in one thread. And if the chatter about one particular deal gets too much other members suggest it taken to a new thread, like the grainger welder or sears clearance sockets for example.

Just looked. They are not stamped with country of origin. The packaging is already gone. Sorry don't know how to check without going to Sears.

I also like this thread as it is currently. I just have it saved to my toolbar.

it will be easier to scroll thread titles than going through multiple pages of posts full of banter, and with the forum once it exceeds one page I expect most good deals will get bumped to the top with comments
