That is about as cheap as I have seen them, the corded ones used to get down around $15 but never seen the cordless much under $20. Mine has survived a ride on the bottom of a truck and backhoe after forgetting I left it under there. Both were a good 5 miles of highway and some offroad.

May have found what to spend the rest of my points I made yesterday on.

Apparently sold out online already, had to go with the local store to get one.

I have a bunch of these. They aren't that bad for the price.I think I paid $19.95 for mine on sale. The only thing that happens to them is that the plastic rivet falls out that holds the top on.That's where the hook is. I caulked a few of them on permanently.

Thanks OP - Ordered one today for store pick-up. Read reviews sounds a bit mixed - will have to judge for myself.

I got one of those over 4 years ago and it's still kicking. Im happy with it holding a charge, though i can't say how long of a runtime it had. It doesn't seem to have a lens for chemicals though. Mine spider cracked a while ago when I got some gas on it I believe.

I'd guess several hours, I've forgot about it over a lunch or something like that and an hour or hour and half later it is still kicking. I try to use and always put it back on the charger cord though, nothing worse than needing it and finding out you didn't charge it after last use.

Glad so many could pick this deal up. I have one so didn't get another one of these but tempted to at this price!

Another great little light that can complement this nicely for next to nothing are the Harbor Freight 27 led tiny lights that often are like $2.69 each with coupon. Those can hang or stick to metal in a car with built in magnet. Very bright too and small. Use AAA batteries I think. I have about 8 of those for around the house. Best small bright multipurpose lights for the money around the shop. The Craftsman is great under the hood of the car. Two for that would be even better, or supplement with 2 or 3 of the HF ones...

Funny, when I went into Sears over BF, they sell the exact same HF light, just for about 2.5x the price as HF! Be aware! - Paul

Decent light but I'm replacing it with milwaukee m18 LED floodlight

I have both. They're not in the same league.

I see the 35 LED rechargeable drop light for $17 about 1-2 times a year, and it is well worth that. This $15 price is the lowest I've seen it ever.
It is not as bright as an arm burner, but still gives enough useful light to get work done within the light "cone".
It is light, and a convenient form factor, especially with that magnet.
It is sitting on the passenger seat of my car right now. It normally lives with the magnet stuck to the side of my flammable cabinet by my garage door, ready to grab and go.

I saw the M18 floodlight online here months back and was drooling over it.
When I saw it at the local Milwaukee distributor (they're also a Milwaukee service center, so I always buy my Milwaukee tools there and not HD since the price is the same anyway), they had one, and when I left, they had none.
That thing is a beast. There is nothing flashlight about it. It isn't like a drop light that you aim. There is such a flood of light that you just need to point it in the general direction (give or take 90 degrees), and you're good to go. It is truly more powerful than a 250W halogen. Almost as much as a 500W, but not quite.
I've had LED lights before where the flashlight would get warm, and warm up your hands. This is the first I've seen where you can bask in the beam. Not EZ bake heat, but you can feel it nevertheless.

It is almost like someone took a ladle size scoop out of the sun and plugged it into an M18 battery.

Here is a great deal today on the Sears corded or cordless and rechargeable LED light. I have one of these and love it. I paid about $25 for mine, now much cheaper.

In for one, thanks, I still have mine from 1 0r 2 years ago, but what the hay?
P/U in store, $16.78 total.
I think I paid $20.00 & tax at the Sears hometown store.
Past Christmas, or the one before.
It's a pretty decent light.I like the magnet on it.

I usually don't purchase much from Sears anymore but I got one one of these and its a good deal IMHO. I may pick up a couple for gifts if they are still on sale.

While Sears is not what it used to be, it is still a large American Company with many American jobs there. I don't have a problem supporting Sears if the deal is a good one. I prefer the US made merchandise though when a deal can be had for that. This is a nice light though and worth getting, regardless of COO. - Paul

I've had this light for about 5 years and it still works good, the run time is still good for a hour or so after all these years, I don't use it everyday and always charge it when I'm done with it.

It's also been dropped many times and holds up good. The biggest drop was about 7ft and that was years ago.

There is only one button on this light. And mine is stored in the garage. 2 winters now, and no issues.
The only weird thing is you click once to turn it on, and 3 more times to turn it off. You get used to it.

Wow! Looks like I'm becoming popular all of a sudden in middle age ! Didn't see that coming! :)

Just happy to help anyone and always. Others will help me back later! I love deals so I know there are others who love "the heat of the hunt" and finding great deals too. I really think this one is one of the best lights around for the price now and what it does. Checkout those cheapo HF ones too though - they have a place too and are smaller and even cheaper. - Paul

THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR POSTING THIS!

I had ordered one for myself as a trail and it has served me well in the shop for 2 days and TONS of compliments on this. Which resulted in me ordering another 12 to give out as gifts and another one for home use!

Thank you very much once again and Merry Christmas!

It's still a good price at $17 right now. If there were any in stock locally, I'd be buying one. I've got $10 of SYWR burning a hole in my pocket. I even looked at Kmart, and while they have them in stock, It's $20, and I'd have to drive to Kmart. I'd also have to actually go in to Kmart as well...not something I've done in 15 years.

Hi 3 at 8. By the way, if you ever met 7 of 9 in person, I think you two could maybe hit it off. (Let's see how many get that reference. You can wiki it if you have to).

The thing with other lights is they may not be as good or could even be better but be careful. Some offer even 60 leds now but people comparing those to this one preferred this one. More leds isn't always better. It is all about the design. This one is a real good one for the money. My Sears shows $17 something now but that is still a good deal for this one. Sears changes their prices hourly! Glad to hear people like these!

For other great deals, see the "hot speakers for garage" thread recently! Or the Sears "bench cookie" thread recently! Or the Ryobi lithium battery thread or sears 6 drawer toolbox thread lately (not my threads but I contributed a bit). Happy Holidaze! - Paul

Hah haha hah, and here it is, the Harbor Freight 27 led flashlight, Sears rebadged version, but even a couple cents cheaper than HF when on super sale coupon! A couple of these complement the other light nicely, but have other uses too. Great little lights for the money for sure. Get 10 of them and give a few away as gifts. - Paul
