What's the new price, and do you need/want one?

I think it's expensive as it's just a Delta copy which is OK but nothing special to start with.

I have a few big old industrial 16" direct drive 3 phase saws and paid a lot less. Occasionally I'm at a friends shop and have to use a small saw like that Jet, reminds me how nice the big old ones are. I'd pass on that Jet for sure.

Depends in what you are looking to do with it, but that's a pretty nice set up (includes extended base, extension table, nice looking miter upgrade...). So, all in, that's a pretty decent price if the saw is in good shape, but you can probably negotiate down some. It gets expensive if you buy all that new...

Its pretty good. I was in the tablesaw/woodshop repair business for a while. just make sure the arbor bearing are smooth. I think 750 would be better.

This would be for a home shop, in my basement, so nothing industrial. I've got a craptastic BD Firestorm right now that is on its last legs. Fine for wacking up wood, but severly lacking as far as precision goes. New price for the saw minus base/miter is probably at least $2k.
