I use this air purifier whenever I have a home project that generates dust. It does a good job of cleaning the air and removing the particles of drywall dust.

It's worked great for a few projects so far - couple bathrooms and a kitchen. Was working on another bathroom and it worked great for a week then I unplugged it and it now won't turn on. No response from buttons and status light doesn't come on anymore

I don't care if if it works at only one speed but I'd like to be able to use it again. Is this possible to do by bypassing the circuitry and having power go right to the motor?

It's all on pieces so I could get a closer look. Motor has 8 wires (one of those is ground)
