So will the floor see any Pa. winter **** on it, or is it just for the bike and Cobra? I'm interested about the clear over the tiles. I like the look of the tiles but I need something that will hold up. I was going to do my floor this year but medical bills got in the way so hopefully come Spring, I'll have my ducks in a row!!!

Also, is that floor gonna be slippery for wet tires? I only park my toy in the garage, but sometimes I get caught in the rain, and was wondering how that kind of tile is with wet tires.

Great work! I love the soffit cabinets and recessed lighting in XcYZ's garage (and now yours too!) as well. Any details on how you put those cabinets together? They look nice and simple but from your pics I can't tell the order in which you put up the pieces. Did you assemble on the ground and then hang the whole assembly?

Call Fred at Alphagarage. I found him on this site and everything i read seemed good so i gave them a try. He can explain the clear over vct better than I can. It is holding up great I think. Looks great too in person.

Not slick at all. It's exactly like walking into a grocery store or other big box place. Shiny but not slippery.

I lagged 2x6's to the ceiling then the wall. Then hung supports from ceiling and started framing from there. Pretty easy just keep it all square. Cheap plywood inside for shelf. 1/4 inch plywood for underside of soffit and doors. $8.00 lights from Lowes and wired up a switch. Pretty easy and I'm certainly no electrician or carpenter. I have about $300 in the soffits.

Beautiful garage! The cafe project has turned out very nice. Great work on the wheels. I really like that rootbeer metalic brown. Of course, now I've got Cobra's on my mind. Gotta focus on getting heat in my garage so I can get some work done this winter.

Do you have a portable heat source that you can use till you can get a better type of heat? Kerosene heater for the win!

Do you weld? That floor is so nice I love it but how does it hold up with the work going on in there. I really want to do something to my floor and its to rough to paint. Thinking about hardtile but afraid that will get to slippery when wet or greasy.
Your shop and bike lot great. Nice job
