Hey all, scratching my head over this. Concrete guy wants 100$ per yard of concrete, looking at two yards for a 12" thick footing, 2ft Wide and 29ft long. I thought a yard was 3 ft? I'm confused.

By my calcs you would need slightly over 2 yards.

Concrete comes in cubic yards 3'x'3'x3' which is 27 cubic feet

Your footer is 1'x2'x29' which comes to 58 cubic feet

Also check to see if your electrical code requires rebar to be hooked to ground and in the footing when it is poured.
