I recently moved into my new home and am trying to figure out my storage needs in the garage before I begin unloading my 10x20 storage unit into it.
the garage is the typical 20x20 with 10 ft ceilings, or there abouts.
I would like to capitalize on overhead storage to allow two vehicles to fit.
I have thought of the over door loft, but for the span it seems a bit sketchy to me.
My other thoughts were corner shelves above the door. I would mount a couple 2x6's to the studs, then attach 2x6's at a 45 in the corners. I am not sure how far I could span the 2x6's though.
So, any other good thoughts? I am not looking to store engines or anything but also dont want to worry about them falling down.
Thanks...
