I have been reading posts on here about guys cutting their grass, digging footers, etc and I am thinking... huh? :wtf:

I have been shoveling snow for almost a month now and it just seems weird for most everywhere else to not have some snow by now. I saw some pics on another board I'm on and they still had leaves in the trees even!

So... post up a pic of your yard taken within the last few days. First pic is my back yard and 2nd is the front.

It's been a long time since I've been to Plamer, Alaska. The last time I was there I went ice climbing on the Knik glacier. Had a great time. It was a rough day for someone though. We were at the airport waiting on our plane to arrive and we watched a plane land at the airport with it's running gear up. Thankfully noone was hurt...

A few years ago....but then it ALWAYS looks like this in California. Sorry guys.:bounce:

On the other hand, look how friggin tiny my yard is compared to yours! There clearly are some tradeoffs (not to mention L.A. traffic)

I think it might look bigger than it is because the snow kinda erases any depth perception. The whole lot is only a little under an acre.

Its just been raining for weeks here in the UK, we've had some flooding locally but not as bad as up in cumbria about sixt or seventy miles away where several small towns were flooded eight feet deep two weeks ago, there five or six bridges have been swept away including sadly one where a policeman was helping people off it and tragically he lost his life when he was swept away. Now its got cold and we had a tiny flurry of snow with more forecast for tonight/tomorrow but not on your scale. Gonna be -5C here tonight though.

Well go figure it starting pouring rain yesterday and part of today and the snow is almost all melted :wtf: There was a good 10" on the ground.

The road to my house is so slick that I had my truck parked near the mail box to grab the mail and it started sliding over from the very slight crown on the road and the wind!

It was 53 here in Chicago today. Washed my wife's car outside. Probably the last time--have to go pay $15 at the auto spa next time. Here's pics of my Purington paver brick patio I installed in September...

Work in progress, had to drop 20 trees in the front yard to make room for the shop. Mostly gravel now.
Still in the planning stage for landscape etc.

It was snowing here in North Texas a few hours ago, but it is already gone. Below is a picture a friend 10 miles from me posted on facebook of his neighbor's house earlier this morning.
