With all the Sears hating going on thought I'd ask. I need a 1-5/16 open end wrench. OSH has a Made in USA Combination wrench for $27+tax.

Hows the quality of this one?

I have the full set of craftsman professional wrenches. The have very good quality. I Like them as well as the snap on set, at 1/2 the cost.

I just need the one wrench and they have a USA one on the rack. I can't imagine breaking that monster.....Or are those real bad?

Yeah if you only need one wrench it should work fine, If you were going to invest in a set then id say to take your money else where.

Is that the largest wrench they make on the SAE side? It is the largest I have after buying the large wrench sets they make. I'd like a 1 1/2" wrench if they make it. You will be happy with the USA RP's though. For larger, look at northern tool

Dave From tekton is a member here, he says they are coming a long way with there tools and they strive on customer support being 100%. I've had zero issues with any of my tekton sockets or wrenches

The RP wrenches aren't bad. People's complaints about them recently have been minor quality control issues, not that they don't perform well.

I bought two sets recently that had a few minor cosmetic issues, but problems seem to be more common on the smaller wrenches.

I don't think the profesional series is made in china.

The professional series has been discontinued and replaced with a line of fully polished wrenches that aren't marked "professional." Those wrenches are now Chinese.

Their regular wrenches are going to be fine, even the Chinese built models. It's the ratchets / sockets that are going to go to $hit when China starts building them.

If you're doing something that's going to "break" a regular wrench (especially a large one), you are probably misusing it in the first place.
