I have a swag off-road press brake and it does great for bending angles. But what should you use for bending a curve in small sheet/plate into something like a J? Is there a die for something like that?

Someone has to make a round bar stock press die for making radius bends. The female side could be a square corner like a piece of angle stock. Seems easy to make one with things laying around.

Parts that require a press brake aren't going to work in a slip roller.

You need a round die.

How heavy of a material are you bending? Sheet metal can usually be bent by hand around just about anything. Find a piece of pipe or tubing the size of your "J" and clamp it to your work bench with the sheet underneath. If it's not to heavy to bend by hand just roll it up over the pipe.
