How can I remove roller marks from my clear coat?

I put down a Rustoleum clear coat this morning after doing two coats of the colored Rustoleum epoxy. I have roller marks like you wouldn't believe. Every single movement of the roller is clearly visible. It's a disaster. How can I best fix this? I've read of sanding and also of using a solvent. It seems like sanding would just scratch it up, leaving my clear coat white. Should I try to put another coat down? I assume that my problem was that I rolled too fast, or stirred too fast, but I don't really know. So what's to stop my second clear coat from coming out as bad as the first?

Please help!

you have to sand it with 100 grit screens, nothing rougher than that, or poly may not hide the scratches. Make sure the shine is gone or dulled from your sanding, then vacuum it and solvent wipe it. Only then will you be ready for another top coat.

We've had good luck with 1/4" nap microfiber nap rollers for top coats. Not sure of your technique but that has much to do of how well your product lays down

Just curious, are the roller marks the full width of the roller-different directions exact shape marks or more push than pull marks. Or is it just a line at the edge of the roller when overlapping the strokes.
It helps to know the cause so you can do a better job next time.
All of the above can be caused by one or more of the following,
-Roller type- make/size
-Pressure you place on the roller as your working it
-The area your working, trying to reduce the amount of "wet edge"
-Consistency of the paint/ thinner reducer etc
-Temperature
