Grainger and MSC have some info. You can always e-mail the manufacturer.
The problem with this is that tomorrow the COO can change tomorrow. If your getting the part from my old company then you could get the exact same part from Europe, Asia, the US, or Puerto Rico. Or some mix of the above.
Just what part of COO worries you? Is it political or mechanical? Is a wrench stamped out is America from Chinese steel acceptable? If a tool is designed by a company in America and built to spec in another country acceptable? Would you accept an American tool of lesser quality if the best is from overseas? Lots to consider when talking COO.

This is an impossible excerise. The Facom distributor in the US keeps a list of COO on an excel spreasheet. Its a nice resource but suprisingly mixed coo in production. Some unexpected stuff is EU, some is Taiwan in good quality plants, alot is oddly a mix of both in the same product...one size wrench from here, another from there in the same lineup...Globalized manufacturing supply chains may result in mulitple coo for the same skus in other word depends on what lot of stock you get that mont/year. In general, certain families of tools tend to be migrated to various areas depending on the management. But the main toolmakers have such huge catalogs that its really hard to generalize about any brand with USA or EU historical bases. Brands even with foreign bass like GW move skus all over the plaice between taiwan and china.

If the coo is not stated; assume it is made in China..

This is actually a pretty good rule of thumb because companies that sell products made in USA tend to make it known.
Hazet does that lol.
I saw they had a nice utility knife but in the description there wasn't any "Made in Germany" text like on some of their other tools, and surprise.. the exact same looking knife is sold under 20 more brands, it can even be found on Aliexpress for a few bucks :/

It is so very hard these days because like the others have said the coo changes so very fast. Just today I did a story for the GJ in the American made tool section, but picking companies that only produce American made tools is getting very slim.
For example I don't write about Klein tools because they have some that come from China, making it difficult to only find companies that are 100% made in the USA.
If in doubt call the company and like someone said if the coo is not listed on the tool you can bet it was made in China.

I honestly don't care very much anymore. Two weeks ago I had to remove the pickup shaft bearing on our baler. Two USA made Eklinds failed on the set screw so I ran to the local NAPA and picked up the best set they had, which just happened to be made in Taiwan. The import key didn't bend when I had to use a cheater and is in nearly the same condition as it was when it was new. It also got the set screw out.
