How did I do w/these Thorsen wrenches?

If they were the V-Groove pattern, maybe.

I think you did just fine. NOS American made, decent quality wrenches for that price? I think you got a bargain.

If I didn't own so many wrenches I'd be tempted. I still have 1 Thorsen 9/16" wrench from back in the 70's when my wrench kit was made up of all mismatched wrenches. Of all the varieties my Thorsen sticks out as one of my favorites, slightly longer and not too bulky. You'll be happy.
