How do I decide which lawnmower to keep, and which to sell?

I have an, approximately, 8 year old Husqvana with a Kohler XT6 engine, and an unknown LawnBoy with a B&S engine. The Lawnboy has driven rear wheel(s).

It seems silly to keep two, as they take up space etc, but which is ''better''? They both start and run fine.

Anyone know much about lawnmowers, B&S vs Kohler, Husqvana vs LawnBoy?

I suspect the Husqvana is better, but just missing the wider wheels and drive system of the LawnBoy. I'm guessing $50-75 is all I'll get for either of them?

Thanks,

The only lawn boys worth a damn were the old magnesium deck 2 strokes

Thanks, I was leaning towards selling that one anyway, as I inherited it and it appeared to never have had an oil change.

I'll see if I can clean it up and list before everyone gets set for the summer.

Thanks.

Keep the Husqvarna. It'll outlive the Lawn Boy. Where I work we've installed a Kohler backup diesel power generator 10 years ago and it runs like a champ with little to no maintenance except annual oil changes. The 2 CAT diesel generators they installed 7 years ago required repairs every couple months and now it sits abandoned. That should say something about Kohler engine reliability.
