How do I fix this gap??

What’s the proper way to finish / fix this trim? Don’t worry about it missing siding and such will do that this spring.

I think this is like 6” inches or something so they make a taller trim? Not sure what I screwed up here as I’ve never built a garage before.

Don't bother with the wider facia cover. Take another piece of the same size and score the inside of the 90 with a utility knife as deep as you can. Bend the tab back and forth until it snaps off. Then use that piece to fill in the gap. Put the seam right at the top texture line of the existing piece.
