How Do I Ground this Motor

This motor came on my Craftsman BS and now I’m using it for a machine I’m getting rid of. I was about to wire it up and wondering where to connect the ground from the cord. I doesn’t show it on the wiring diagram.

On the side of the motor there’s a ground, but not to connect the cord to and I’m really not sure why it’s even there.

How/where do I ground the cord?

I'd hook on to that green wire.......it grounds everything.

The thing is it’s a newer motor, so how was a ground to be connected according to factory?

any place on the housing is fine. a small screw inside the wiring box would be where I'd put it

Damn, your eyes are obviously better than mine. Thank-you. I completely missed it, now I feel like a complete dope. Yes, there’s a grounding screw. I’ll never live this down.
