How do I mount my exterior lights? What am I missing?

Ok so my siding is up and looks good. So i picked up some lights and covers for the electrical boxes.
The lights can be directly mounted in the vinyl siding box, I think i need to grab an extender for the electrical to mount to. Is this correct?

and do I need the same thing to allow me to mount the covers for the gfi pluggins?

Longer screws, 8/32 for lights and 6/32 for outlet.

So they make extensions lol.
Needed 1" octagon box extension so I used two 1/2" extensions for the lights and for the outlets they make extensions also.
