How do I put this trim piece back?

When I was messing around with a remote start and the ignition this piece fell of the ignition part. I can't get it back on, I have messed with it many times.

If broken can I get another piece of it?

It is from a 2003 Ford Escape.

You can try JB weld for plastic. No guarantee though.
I had a similar polymer material that broke. I tried everything, it still fall apart over time.
Sadly, the best way is to replace the whole thing.

Yes, it looks like it snaps in place.

blew the photos up. The pry marks may be keeping it from going all the way in. It has to clock right. Did you remove the ignition or just pop the cover off?

UPDATE: I grabbed one side of the piece where the horns come out with a pair of needle nose pliers and lightly hammered the other horn side. It went in! I was surprised.

I did not expect that I was going to need a hammer and pliers to get that back on.

A hammer is probably the factory approved tool, too.

Of course it is. Doesn't BFH stand for Big Ford Hammer?
