I got this Westcraft ratchet that I’m fairly sure is an Indestro from my cousin. But the problem is I can’t figure out how to take it apart to clean the inside. So if anybody knows please tell us. Thanks in advance.

Get a hypodermic needle from a medical supply store and "inject" you 50/50 atf - acetone mixture thru the "oil" hole. You'll probably be surprised at all the black junk that comes out of it!

What he said! I spray a bunch of brake cleaner in the hole and wash out the old grease or whatever is in there. After the brake cleaner evaporates, I take 3 in one oil and squirt a bunch in the hole. Those ratchets are strong and almost indestructible (except for the directional lever) once cleaned and lubed.

That helped a little bit, but still one of the worst feeling ratchets I’ve ever felt, I would give this thing away If I could

Let her soak a few days. Looks like someone was smacking the faceplate with something

That pressed-flange unit had (at most) a 36-tooth mechanism. They are a bit "clicky-clacky" - it's not a racehorse, but it'll get the job done.
