How do i wire the micro switch on bendpak 2 post lift??

Hey guys im just now getting around to getting my lift up and running. I have a bendpak 10,000 lb two post lift. I have wired my complete garage with no problems but seem to have trouble understanding Bendpak's instructions when it comes to wiring the lift/switch. Could someone just tell me what color goes where??

If you are running your service by the switch to the power unit, just wire the switch into one of the red or black wires. Assuming your wire colors are white, black, red.

If you are running your service to the power unit first and then running two wires up to the switch, assuming you are using a white and black up to the switch. Connect the red at the power unit to the black going to the switch. Then connect the white from the switch to the power unit.
