How do I wire these outdoor lights?

I ordered a few of these lights to mount on the outside of my R panel steel building. Bolting them up is no problem nor is the electrical connections but I assume the wires will run through the 1.5” tube and exit out the bottom?

I am not sure what is the proper way to go from the bottom of this large open pipe through the r panels to get inside. I thought maybe using some 1/2” carflex and just drilling an appropriate sized hole in the r panel and running it though the hole and up the tube but wondered if there was a better way? I plan on mounting six of them.

Going to jump in here and allow everyone to have a chance to criticize my suggested solution.

My suggestion is to come out of the lamp head with SO Cable pass the SO Cable through a TPN Submurseable connector into a weatherproof box where you transition to conduit.

That's my advice, I guarantee it to be worth exactly what you paid for it and to refund that amount in full.

I have a similar dusk to dawn setup. I used liquid tight flex conduit from the light connection down-the goose neck into to an outdoor rated box. The box was already installed, the old light fixture was attached directly in the past.

Wired my of them as suggested above....a piece of Liquid tight, or Sealtite, up into the mounting bracket and the other end into a weather tote box.

Thanks guys. May do GNX's suggestion.

What is a "TPN Submersible connector" I am not familiar with it and google brings up nothing.

All you need is a conduit though the wall and a weather head. The wires will exit the weather head and you splice them to the ones coming out of the light, tuck the splice up inside the arm if you want it to look nice.

No need for anything waterproof, both a weather head and the light are designed with the wires exiting down. Water won't get in because water doesn't flow uphill

We used Hubble TPN Connectors in the shipyard for weatherproof cable entry in to a connection box or similar situation. They are made of Nylon and rubber, a sort of a compression connector. They are US listed for wet locations and CSA listed as submersible connectors.
