Hey guys I'm looking to get some new pliers. I was first thinking to get a craftsman set but for the price it seems a better idea is to piece together what pliers I need from harry epsteins. I was reading the thread on wilde wednesday from a whIle back and wilde has some real nice stuff it seems. Anyway I definately noticed that channellock is more common but I really like the idea of those flush joint pliers. How do you guys think the two companies compare?

I have a drawer full of Channellock, but the Wilde snap ring pliers I bought through HJE are extremely nice. I'll be buying some more Wilde through HJE in the future (especially the 2pc Pipe Wrench Plier set).

The Wilde are the same as craftsman USA. They are quality pliers. The Channellock's are quality products. I have all three brands and have never been unhappy with any of them. The Craftsman I have are flush fit as are the Wilde. The Wilde are adjustable for joint play (threaded pin) and the Craftsman are not.
