How do you "clock" an air ratchet Handle?

The handle /housing on my MAC air ratchet is not aligned with the ratchet head. How do I tighten it in the correct position?

A shim or thicker gasket is required between the two pieces. If you measure the pitch of the threads then you can mathematically figure the thickness needed.

Mount the ratchet in a vice and loosen the big nut on top of the aluminum housing and clock it, my IR air ratchet came loose a couple times there.

No shim needed. The bottom end of the center nut is threaded regular and the other end is
reverse. The easiest way is to mount the handle in a vise, put a wrench across the head below the square drive, hold the head still, and use another wrench to crack the center nut loose. Loosen enough until the head turns free then retighten. Only problem is if the threaded internal gear that screws into the handle came loose, it's a pain in the **** to tighten without a spline tool.
