How do you fix a dent on a Blow Mold Case?

I received my VIM Tool's XZN Socket set today, and one corner of the case has a small dent. It's plastic and should be able to restore the shape. Should I place a heating element next to it? Pressing on it just makes it worse. I'm a little picky, because I stack these blow mold cases on top of the other, and the dent makes this particular case wobbly now.

I'd try using a heat gun to soften the area, press the case down to flatten the bottom and let it cool like that.

Otherwise, fix your OCDness

if you could pressurize it from an inconspicuous place with low pressure, like 5 to 10 psi, it would eventually pop out.

or if you are OK with a small hole in the corner just screw a wood-screw in part way and pull the dent out with pliers.

Most of those blow cases have that hole already. Check the seam. Warm the dent with a heat gun or hair dryer, add air pressure and Pop goes the weasel.

I think you should bring in a paintless dent remover crew and turn it over to your home owners insurance as hail damage. Lol

Problem is....the labor pool ain't old enough to know how to read or right, so who's gonna sign for the package.

You need to get a set of body hammers and a dolly kit and fix it properly.

If it's double walled, you might try spraying
in some expanding foam, I think I would
heat it first though.

It's definitely OCD, there's no doubt about that. There's no point in requesting a replacement when the bits are still functionally sound. Somewhere down the line this blow mold case is going to be accidentally pushed off the counter, so...so be it
