Wrap mine around the handle of the compressor, pain in the ****, now that my floor's done I'm getting a reel. Also going to get the garage pak air system so I only need short hoses as I'll have a port at each station

The guy that we bought our house from had a pretty good idea, nail/screw a 3lb coffee can to the wall, hang the garden hose over it, put all the nozzles/accessories inside, put the lid on the can. Works slick.
Use it for your air hose, put the tire chuck, blow gun, tire gauge etc inside the can.
Hell, throw the impact gun, air ratchet, or right angle sander in there too............

Lowe's has some screw in the wall (hopefully a stud) hooks that are much longer (8 - 10 inches or so) that have a rubberized coating. That's what I used until I can hang the reel in the ceiling.

I screwed them into a 2x4 stud supporting a shelf in the garage. Two side by side about 4 inches apart.

Doing this until I can get a hose reel. Screwed 2 pcs of wood to the 2x8 & wrap it around them. Works pretty well for what it is, that's a 100' hose.

Have a basic garden hose bracket, with a thermometer hanging on the front of it. The thermometer was boring ol terra-cotta, painted it gloss black with white numbers, added a red pointer. Kinda looks like an old analog speedometer...

...tried to get in on the $23.99 Lowe's reel deal. Local guy said No. His boss yelled at me. Lowe's can go pound sand.

I was originally going to get a reel OR hang the hose on the wall BUT I have been rolling it up on the handle for the past 4 years and see no reason to change now.:lol_hitti

That is quite the piping setup. What's happening there?:headscrat

Main job is to remove as much water from the air as possible which it does a good job of. Even on humid days I barely get a couple small drops in the separator. The hose reaches anywhere in the shop so don't need additional piping or drops.

I have four of these long straight "hooks" with reels of extension cords on them, a about three more with air hoses on them. The hose I use all the time just lays out on the floor. Hope to eventually get plumbing run and the hose reels hooked up.

This will end up being my Vacuum hose holder if I can ever find two big ole used up Porsche rotors. I am going to bolt them face to face and use them to hold the air hose. FWIW, I do have a hose reel too.

I use a garden hose hanger on the wall and I hate it. It seems every time I use the hose I have to stretch the whole thing out and roll the thing back up or it will kink and looks like ****. I am stashing some cash so I can get some kind of reel I just have not found a option I really like better than a reel.

I like the rim idea. However it will not retract back like a real. Choices, Choices, Choices...
