Just googling around is more than likely going to lead you down the wrong path. Lots of bad info out there.Just googling around, I see to run 1/0 SER inside and then transition to MHF on the exterior wall.
Then try offering details. If you don't know what any of the pertinent details are, I stand by my comment to hire it outNope, I'm serious.
Needs to be designed for a driveway install, as well. You need a 100 amp ev charger install kit. Make sure you get the one specified for 400 amp service and several yards.
Good catch. Hate to see someone come home with the wrong one.Needs to be designed for a driveway install, as well.
This is nonsense. There are lots of write ups on installing Tesla chargers over on the Tesla forums. They are almost always "indoors". The short answer is that you're going to have to create some sort of enclosure for the charger that is outdoor rated and designed to deal with whatever heat (if any) those chargers put off. At 100 amps, they're going to be hard wired.
What is great about that solution is they can also charge their phones by leaving them laying in the driveway overnight.I would try a wireless induction charger on WIFI.
can I put romex in it?Conduit. glad to help.
And outdoors, in a koi pondonly its if NM.
duh
I don't think it's non-sense that most factory EV chargers are not outdoor rated. This is nonsense.
Those battery operated chargers are a bear for maintenance. They use several hundred thousand double A's.
There are many chargers sold that are for exterior use. I have one on my house.

I didn't know I was suggesting a battery operated charger. I was suggesting an enclosure.
A reference to a Tesla "outdoor rated" charger (or compatible) might help the OP. If there is a generic, 100A capable, outdoor rated charge - a reference to that might be really helpful.
the good ones are all outdoor rated:
