Stupid is as stupid does. Usually, you can't give those indexable head ratchets away. That must be a record bid for that type of ratchet.

Wow. I bought a 6 pc Truecraft multi angle spline drive ratchet set off one of the Cummins traveling trailer sales a few years ago for $10 - can be put together in far more contorted positions than that. Never have pulled it out to use it. Seems to be very well made though.

I bought that exact ratchet a week or two ago, I think I paid $58 plus shipping on Flea Bay.

I do agree that I think many of the Snap On items get bid up to stupid prices for no real reason other than the enthusiasm of the buyers.

This listing is for a Blackhawk 3/8 drive version. As you can see even with free shipping and a few free sockets, the seller isn't selling many for $18. I guess it's all in the name. There are several Proto versions on Ebay too.

Gee, just imagine if it had a pink hard handle. I have one of the Proto 1/4" indexable ratchets with a hard handle. It is not very smooth with 30 teeth but indexable ratchets can be a lifesaver sometimes.

It is when you do find that 1 situation when an indexable ratchet is the only ratchet that will get the job done that it's worth it's weight it gold. It's rare that's that case, but when it is you're glad you have it.

Seeing how I lost the first one before it was placed, I wondered if the same thing would happen, I guess not. I have never had a ratchet like this and I am curious if I will like it or not.
