I repair musical instruments--specifically high-end clarinet and oboe. I've been doing it for 38 years and still really enjoy what I do. The craft allows me to really invest in hand tools and design new tools since it is such a small world and there aren't tools available for certain jobs. On the side, I've always enjoyed working on cars and bikes (both motorcycles and bicycles), so I'm a real diverse "toolie" kind of guy.
early years...ASE certified...not quite 'master', still wrenching on the side.

tools comensurate with both professions.
freshly retired due to a shoulder injury.
Still no time for my own projects!
