Was just reading the pawn shop thread (summary: they're really hit or miss). Saw guys talking about how they do better with garage sales.
How the Heck do you guys do well at garage sales? You must have a formula. If I do a run of garage sales, I'll burn a ton of gas, spend the entire morning driving, hit maybe 10 garage sales on a good day, and return with almost nothing of value. People selling mostly clothes, children's toys, and the detritus that accumulates in the home.
How come you guys are successful and I'm not?
