With some of the great cars on this site my car is nothing to brag about.
The black car isn't mine. But we're doing a 351 stroked out to a 398 with a 6 speed.

Hi all... I'm new to the board and figured this be a good place to start. Heres how my garage looked when I closed the door for the winter, "no heat".

Lurking around for a while...

Checking out the awesome garages trying to get some ideas.

So I figured it's time for my first post.

24 X 48 buliding partitioned with 12 X 16 office and 12 X 8 storage area...
leaving 24 X 36 work area. Need to finish Drywall and paint but I have to shoot the 64 1/2 Mustang first.

Then Black & White Race-Deck tile floor with Red Border.

Cool Mirror ball Xray, no brand loyalty in your garage hay?
Thanks Down Under B

Brand loyalty?

Not really I love all muscle cars and classics plus my first car was a 1969 AMX 390cid 4spd.

Chevy, Ford, Buick, Amc, Pontiac, etc... all are welcome in my garage

I do have one Brand that I'm partial to...
future plan is to build a bar in the corner.

Looks good, how big is your garage?
What are the plans for the Stang? The engine bay looks killer, any more pics?

I'd like to know too. You've done lots of work there... that smoothed engine bay must have taken forever, they look like ****** swiss cheese. Are you keeping the four eyes? I see you swapped the quarter windows...

Thank you for the kind words....
Regarding the garage - 20x20

I am planning a re-org in the spring once I can throw some things out (anything hazardous will go to the local recycling days instead of the trash), have less parts since they will be in their correct place and anything else can go on Ebay/Mustang Boards to sell.

Regarding the Mustang:

4 eyes for Life!!! 84 1/2 GT Nose (original) I have it on the car loosely right now to make room in the rafters.

Regarding the Engine bay, I still need to finish it. I decided not to run a heater, so I have a few more holes to fill. It has been a long process (a lot of grinding, sanding, filling, sanding, priming, etc.), but I think it will be worth it.

Swapped the windows to match the 87-93 doors (stock doors were shot). I like the look a little better, plus I wanted the door speakers. I have the 87-93 interior from the doors back (keeping the correct dash, since I like that better)

The rafters are filled with parts. There are only a few parts that I need to purchase to complete it, but it is finding the time and making sure that I am doing it in the right order. It didn't help that I screwed up my back and I couldn't work on it for almost a year.

Not sure on a paint color yet, so it may be satin black for a little while. Maybe go for that rat rod look.

Future plans include a big block, but right now I am just throwing a 306 into it (close to stock). I just want to drive/race it again. With a similar engine set-up and 2.73 gears, it went 13.84 @ 101.6. The 60' was a ridiculous 2.2 (slipping clutch, not enough gear for the cam. With gears and the new suspension (full drag), I should be high 12's/low 13's.

It was going to be a long term project, but I am getting the bug to get it on the road. It has been down for 2 1/2 years, so the bug is really biting to get it finished.

I will post more pictures in another thread.

Thank you for the kind words.

New to the forums. Here's my 40x30 as of 3:42pm East Coast Time. It's snowing like crazy in Maryland right now. I ran out to get the pictures now I'm going to watch the NASCAR Race.

The Mustangs haven't been out since December and they are ready to run.

Nice. Looks like a ton (or less? 1800#?) of fun. Not too much call for those around here, but I still want one.

M3 Imola Red is named after the Imola Circuit in Italy, the site of Ayrton Senna's fatal 1994 crash. Italy plays host to two F-1 races a year, the San Marino GP (a principality in north-central Italy) at Imola in April and the Italian GP at Monza in September.
