My wife appreciates tools as she sews and quilts. She has measuring tools, scissors, cutters, and multiple sewing machines.

I'm smart enough to encourage her acquisition of tools for her hobby. She is pretty good with me as well, will walk through tool stores, (her dad is a tool-o-holic).

She even scores some pretty good deals at yard sales for me.

She was calling me on the phone to see if I wanted a loaded Craftsman box (roll around) for $75.00 when a guy beat her to it....(scorned x-wife selling it) I appreciated the call but was glad in a way I didn't get it.

I had to vote Neutral / Mixed. When a lot of tools come in from eBay or Amazon in a week she doesn't seem real thrilled. She's OK when they trickle in a little bit at a time.
