Been seeing alot of questions about how a floor should look before epoxy..... this is the last floor i grinded and after i filled and grinded joints and imperfections.....lots of white i try and get atleast 90% of the floor like that....garage floors are the hardest most the time cause of sealers and heavy power troweling.

On the money Jstar.
Here is a shot from a customer who used acid etch for the prep.
I think it's easy to see why we all recommend the grinding, it is much more effective.

We have found that there is no reliable visual way to determine if a floor is properly prepped.

Generally if basic things are followed like water droplet absorption test, plastic sheet moisture test, etching or grinding, the coating should adhere fine.

We just say, please read our instructions and that normally solves all potential problems. If any doubts, we offer free, unlimited, tech support.
