Go Multi-Coat...
I have a single coat (barely) 3 1/2 year old ICI epoxy. Painting contractor applied it as his last job for our new home. They did a great job with prep work, but skimped when it came down to the putting a "full" single coat on the floor. They underestimated how much epoxy it would take to cover exposed concrete on the side walls which led to not having enough to put a "full" coat on the actual floor. This only became apparent a few days later upon inspection at which point we were ready to move in. Do not get me wrong, the floor is definitely coated; there is just areas were you can tell it's thinner (raw concrete just visible). I'm still kicking myself for not having the painter come back and put down another "full" coat.
Point being that this "95%" coat is just not enough to hold up regular use. It has not lifted per say, but will mar / come up when engine hoists or floor jacks are "dragging" across it. Not much I can do at this point but re-prep and put down another coat.
Which brings me to my recommendation; go with at least two coats if you plan on doing any kind of "heavy" work...
