How is a Camelback drill press sized?

The factory specs on my 32" drill which is MT 5 show the contershaft rpm should be 175 rpm. Would be a little higher on an MT 4 spindle drill. Tight and loose pulleys fixed to it are 14" diameter. Steps on the cone pulleys are from 5-1/8" up to 14". I measured once and I can get spindle rpm so low it is easily counted by eye and I still have a few toes left over. Ed.

ORC, I looked closer and it absolutely has a back gear, the top two gears are spinning at different rates, so it is engaged now. I didn’t have enough time to actually mess with trying to swap gears, but it definitely is there, thanks for pointing it out.

Disregard that speed, I used the wrong attachment to measure it.
The correct attachment has a small rubber tip but it`s decayed to an unusable blob.
I`ll have to get a digital laser tac after all.

Well I ended up getting a Swiss made Biddle tac of the bay and checked the reading of the biggest lower pulley and it reads 587 rpm.
