I have a 3 car garage in a 6 year old house that I am currently renovating (along with installing a game room over the garage in the attic space, whole 'nother level of difficulty) after a house renovation project.
It is a light duty garage. I don't work on cars much anymore, other than maybe changing brake pads and calipers. I don't do welding. I do some light wood working occasionally. Thats about it .
I'm planning on some sort of floor coating system.
My plan is fill any cracks from the slab settling, there's nothing major. Grind it down with a rented diamond bit grinder from a local rental company.
I was considering ArmorPoxy or Legacy systems, then I came across Garage Flooring Inc.'s 2-coat garage floor coating kits.
This kit, for my purpose, seems too good to be true? 33% thicker per their advertising at 200 sq.ft./galloon.
I would order the 1000 sq foot kit as I think 750 would be just at the limit of what I would need.
$1569 for a light fleck and tough wearing polyurea top coat? Seems perfect for what I need as I don't work on cars in my garage.
ArmorPoxy SPGX 550 sq ft + 275 sq ft medium broadcast combined kits would be over $2000 for a similar appearing product.
Is there something I'm missing here? Or is the Garage Flooring Inc kit at $1569 the right kit for me?

My second option is after the grind, doing a water blocking primer and doing a regular two part epoxy floor with light fleck, could I then add SPGX or something like that on top of it? From what I've read, a good grind, followed by a good water blocking primer would be the best for long term floor coatings to not fail.
