Placed an order for a floor jack a week ago tomorrow. Floor jack that never seems to be in stock in my area...3 ton, low profile long reach.
FedEx label created 3 days ago. Still waiting to receive the shipment.

I'm 1.5 hrs from the warehouse. If I could pick it up, I would have drove up there.

I'm currently without a jack. Old HF jack died without a warning. Gotta do a brake job on my daughters car real soon before she's gone to TN for the summer.

I ordered some casters from them that were out of stock in my local stores. I placed the order on Wednesday, and received the items all the following Monday. I'm sure the time varies depending on, well, probably everything.

Yea, but the store clerk checked the computer and told me there are a thousand of those jacks in stock at our warehouse just up the road from us. :lol_hitti

Don't ask.
Years ago I ordered the long frame truck jack, on sale and got free shipping. Shipping on other similar sized jacks was more than the HF jack.
It took a long time to get here (several months). I expected them to cancel the order over the free shipping but called them and was assured it was on the way.

I've never ordered from them personally since I have 3 stores I pass on a regular basis but at work we have ordered a couple things online. Shipping with them has always been slower than we expect from most companies nowadays but wasn't real bad.

I ordered a Daytona low profile long reach jack on 4/30. It shipped 5/2 and I received it on 5/8. It was shipped from Concord SC.... Seems like anything (for us on the east coast) that ships from the CA warehouse takes longer. I placed an order for just some screwdrivers (set of 6). Took them 6 days from order to ship, and they are taking 9 days by my count to get here. They will be here a week from now.

The jack likely showed up the next day; shortly before Your Brother-in-Law showed up to borrow one. Sorry, this is the only logical explanation I have; unless that warehouse only ships out using dollied off semi trailers? Those goods do get transported to a UPS distribution center, and are then shipped from there?

Still sitting in Dillon SC waiting on shipment.

Another issue, I bought a Dewalt planer stand off eBay. It showed up yesterday with all four legs missing. Still waiting on seller to respond before I go nuclear on him with eBay. And once again, seller is here in SC up in Greenville.

I might have to spend a day driving the state taking names and kicking ***. :lol_hitti

Whatever the seller claims; don't let problems with an eBay transaction drag out beyond the 30 day claim cutoff.

I’m giving them 24 hours from my email yesterday and that’s it. Sad thing is, they have another one listed right now with most likely missing parts as well.

I was hoping they had parts from another they could just send me.

The only time I've ordered online from HF the items arrived in less than a week from multiple warehouses.

If your local store is out of stock of an item, they can order it and have delivered to the store from the warehouse. They call it a "pre-sale".

So here we are 10 days out and I just got another text from AmEx for a HF charge for the jack on my CC. So either they are double charging my CC or I’m getting two jacks. :lol_hitti
I guess I better let the dust settle and then follow up with AmEx. I think the same thing happened somewhere else one time and it had the same transaction number, so it only went through once.

Oh, and I got a return shipping label for the bum Dewalt stand. So far it has cost the seller about $70 in shipping.

.....and the negative feedback.

Just a follow up......
Second charge on the CC was dropped, and I called customer service to see what was going on. It was supposed to be delivered today. After a 25 min wait on hold, I was told to ignore the FedEx tracking, they are always wrong any way and it should be waiting on me when I got home.
Apparently the delay was because they had run out and were on back order. New shipment came up with a new SKU number. When I mentioned the store told me there were 1000 in stock at the warehouse she said that she wished they would stop telling customers this, because that computer info was wrong, and even she could not look it up at her corporate terminal she was at.
After our conversation, it suddenly showed up as moving through the fedex system and is scheduled for delivery tomorrow now.
