im looking to do a 3,000 sq/ft shop with the 2 part sherwin williams stuff. also do you think its worth it to acid wash the concrete before hand or just wash it with water. thanks
Preparation of the substrate is EVERYTHING in terms of durability of the coating you apply. Acid-washing is the absolute minimum; steel shot-blasting or grinding is much better.

YES! And Check with them about the process after you etch and before you apply the epoxy. In some cases you have to pressure wash, allow to dry and conduct a moisture test.

Can't tell you how long it takes because I did mine in sections, and I do things fairly slowly / meticulously. But I can tell you that you need a good mask for the fumes. I got one with carbon filters from Lowe's for about $30 and it was perfect for the job.
