I got my 1" 25' Stanley out horizontally to 83" the other day before it bent. :bounce:

My wife looked at me like I was crazy for even trying.:headscrat

Pretty funny so I tried it. (K&R 1" x 25') I could go 87" with quite a bow but it didn't kink. Couldn't go 88.

Who's next?

Well, that was fun. I can get 140. May can go a little longer, but hard to hold and take the picture.

Wow, are those wider than 1"? I went out a few minutes ago and got mine to 85". I've had it a few years so it's not new by any means.

I'll be silly. My Irwin Strait-Line 25' snapped at 111" or 112" on repeated tests.

I had a Craftsman tape measure and the lock/hold stopped working. I didn't disassemble it to find out why. Gave it to my girlfriend when we broke up (along with a few other tools I wanted to upgrade) and bought this heavier duty (and heavier in weight) Irwin. I like it.
