How Long is Too Long After Etching?

Last Fall I was prepping my floor for epoxy but then the weather turned and I never got a chance to apply it. I etched the concrete back in October and other than the floor being a little dirty it still feels like it did after I etched it.

Do I need to do it again or just clean it and put the epoxy down? The floor is a year old and we don't currently keep the cars in it.

I'm a fan of diamond grinding over acid etching for surface prep, however I want to emphasis what Scotty said...be sure you clean the floor well! You don't want a whole yrs worth of dirt and grime under your new epoxy floor installation.

Thanks guys. Definitely plan on power washing the floor and letting it dry out before I put the primer down. Just wanted to make sure there wasn't a shelf life on the prep part.
