How many hand power tools do you own?

Probably 20+ corded tools, and as few cordless as I can get away with (2).

Luckily, my 14.4V Milwaukee drill and driver still work fine on the very occasional times when I need something like that. I'd have to look, but I don't even think they were Hecho en China. I do wish that someone would make a super compact corded ratchet.

The belt sanders are really cool. Some of them look like locomotives.

They're often referred to as Locomotive sanders; Porter-Cable called them Take-Abouts. I actually have more of them, as that's an old photo.

I just bought the a-2 Saturday at a auction. It’s full of dust and I’m trying to take it apart to clean it up. Going slow so I don’t break anything.

I can send you an exploded drawing, if you like. It's a fairly easy rebuild as worm drive sanders go, but there's a hidden set screw that retains the jackshaft bushing ( you have to take off the rear handle casting to see it).

Absolutely, that sounds like what I’m stuck on. Well that and the wiring insulation from the brushes is stiff.

I have never counted them, but probably somewhere between 50 and 75. I have a whole bunch of air tools, I have at least a dozen right angle die grinders, as I hate changing out the tool.

I use mine professionally in a machine shop, and I have a bunch of specialty metalworking tools.

Don't do much woodworking, so I only have the basics. Circular saw, jigsaw, a couple routers, sawzall, and a few nail/staple guns.

Between myself and my dad, we easily have hundreds. He built houses most of his life, and had his own construction company, so he has lots of specialty tools to borrow if I need them.

Ok, I was doing some cleaning and inventory today and it's definitely over 200 and probably under 300, a little off from my previous estimate.
