How many ratchets do you own?

I am an apprentice and I have 11. But half shouldnt even count because they come in tool sets and it's cheaper to buy the set than individual tools.

Just kidding - the ones in the box on the right are some recent auction booty - the intended "target" was the Tuff1 roto, which is awaiting new wave washers. The others that tagged along, are not very noteworthy, other than the little Klein 65620.

The Klein ratchet appears to be SK made. Nice grab.

Edit: I'm personally at 59 ratchets. Most of those are collectors and do not get used.

I believe you're correct - I couldn't find a picture of one, but posts here on GJ lead to SK. It's sort of like a raised panel 40970 and the internals are very SK-like. I opened it up, cleaned/lubed - it's very smooth and low backdrag. A nice bonus.

There a few of that style SK ratchet with flat handle, that show up with different names on them. Klein, Gambles, Kraeuter, SK, JC Penney, I'm sure I'm missing a few.

I have a Kraeuter 3/8 with flat handle. I'm jealous of your 1/4".

2 Bahco 80 tooth ratchets one been 3/8 one been 1/2
The rest are Proto, Taiwan brands, and a Wera.

Come to think of it I dont own a 1/4 ratchet.

I,m retired, hobbyist/collector now. I owe 24 ratchets: 11 x 1/4" (2 x R151 Facom, 2 x R161 Facom,2 x Belzer, OWIM,2 x Snap On and 2 x Bonney refrigerating ratchets); 3 x 3/8" (Facom J151 and J161 and Snap On); 8 x 1/2" (2 x Facom S151, and 2 x S161,OWIM,Facom S142, Gedore and Rothenberger); 2 x 3/4" (Snap On and "chinesium") Mostly two of them because of metric ,vs imperial drawers in my storage cabinets, workbench-drawers and carts. I like them all (without the chinese one, from a cheap socketset with sockets from 19 to 50mm A/F.

I probably have around 25. They are made by Snap On, Wright, Proto, Gearwrench, Craftsman, Husky, and some others that I can’t remember. I only have six that I use regularly and they are 84 tooth Gearwrench flex heads and a couple of 80 tooth Snap Ons.

I think Dave meant like the Snap On speeder type, not the spinner type. I see the one, it’s different than those I posted. Has a grip in the center. I’d like to find the end knob for the Herbrand.
