Garage at home and shop combined, 30ish give or take a couple, includes: service carts (3) mid boxes (2) side boxes (2) work bench tool storage stations (4) portable grab-n-go boxes (4) roll cabs (5) top boxes (3) and the rest are boxes for specific specialty tool storage, most are portable type...ie on the car brake lathe has nice tool box for storing all the specific tools and adapters. One box that holds nothing but our cam/timing belt aligning tools and so on.

In the garage I have a Lista cabinet with 13 or so drawers. I also have a Craftsman 8 drawer roll cabinet with a 10 or so drawer top box on it. There is also a small Kennedy Machinist box I recently got. In the barn is a 40" Waterloo top box and a3 drawer Craftsman roll around. And then all my machinist stuff is in the basement of the house in two 8 drawer tops and one 2drawer intermediate box. Also have 4 or 5 Rally type boxes sitting around filled with specialties. Need another lista or two so I can get everything organized better.

Forgot about my old Gerstner I have packed away to restore some day.

top and bottom rollaways, or your main box..
i can't believe how many some of you guys have, i'd never be able to fill all of them...

they are easy to fill up, have one set of tools at work, and another set at home.

ive been wrenching on const eq for 25+ years, stated buying tools 10 years before that.

i sold my kennedy machinists boxes years ago, have given away 3 or 4 roller cabs/top boxes, and sold one of my SO roller cabs, and side box.

i'm still kicking myself for that stupid move. :wtf:

About twenty-four with drawers - mostly Snap-on and Kennedy, a Union, a Utica, two huge Shark Stainless and six or eight carry boxes. You got a problem with that?

My wife says I have to many...................and I say I don't have enough. She is mad because mine are larger than hers.
All together three bottom boxes, four top boxes, one intermediate box, one side cabinet, one tool cart, two hand carry boxes, and 8-9 tool bags.

I have one 41" box and wish I had more. I'd like to find a top box for mine but Craftsman doesn't make it in the color I have anymore. Other than that I'd like to have a 26" with bottom, mid, and top chests.

BLACKNWHITEPIT: hey how are you? i am still jealous that you got a snap on blue box that has full wide drawers...

Finally have got some time to hit GJ and post again. Work, school and family had me busier than I wanted to be.

I got really lucky with that blue KRL. The pawn shop had it and was willing to deal, 3K total out the door.

I still keep finding good deals on smaller toolboxes, so I guess I need to update my pics.

that good thing to keep busy around.. i had a tech friend who had to sell exact box but with hutch and color is red... he tried to sell for 9,500 for a while.. last time i saw him, he still has it... it is stupid for him to trade in his KRA 26" combo top and bottom box for Giant box and had not buy any tools!!!! but what i was told that he was moved back to ohio to be computer person... oh well..

MKdive: how do you like the Craftsman side box??? is it worth???

YES (worth it). I actually have some of my most used tools in there. I picked it up on one of the "tool storage deals". But I would even buy one a full price! I threw some mechanic time savers above the side box to make it handy storage:

Here are some drawer shots of the side box:

2nd drawer (misc):

everybody started somewhere, the 1st toolbox i ever remember buying new was a CM 5 dr roller cab when i started my machinist apprenticeship in '76. my other toolbox at the time was a hand-me down 22" CM machinist box from my dad.

sadly the machinist box is long gone, along with my kennedy machinists and mechanics boxes. :(

I have:
1-5 drawer rollaway.
1-3 drawer top box for the rollaway.
1-cart with drawer and closing top.
1-plastic tool box that i'll be using to bring to the track with me.

In about 2 or 3 months I hope to get a bigger box( more than likely Cman ) as I am running out of space.

I've got a small Waterloo roll around. Aside from that I have several carry a long metal boxes. Couple cantelievers..

I need a big roll around though.. Annoying having everything in these small boxes. Garage is turning into a mess trying to find storage.

i have 2 kra53's that were my dads and uncles (uncle sold snapon) a stackon top n bottom i got as my first box at age 8 (im currently 29) a kennedy 8 drawer top i got when i worked at machine shop back in high school. a Husky 40 some inch wide top n bottom (bout 8 years old so the better kind) 2 of the HF 13 drawer bottoms as a workbench and 2 older cman 8 drawer iirc workbench bottoms (bolted together with a top) and a few carry boxes of assorted ****... and a cman rally box at my condo, and a box in the trunk of my car too

i keep trying to condense it as i go as i believe its best to have it all in one place not spread all over but i keep finding and buying more so that becomes difficult :)
