Went to the local Habitat for Humanity Restore today and ran across what I think is a great deal They have new in the box Metalux T5 High Bay lights in both 4 bulb 8 foot fixtures and 3 bulb 4 foot fixtures available for $75 for 4 footers and $100 for the 8 footers. For this prit also includes bulbs and louver option cover. This is a link to the four footers http://www.specialty-lights.com/fbayi5355.html

My garage is an attached three car 34 wide by 24 deep. Question is will high bay lights work in with a 10 foot ceiling and can anyone tell me how many fixtures I would need and reccomend a layout.

Thanks in advance for your help.

High bay lights are generally for ceilings 20 feet tall or more. With a 10 foot ceiling, the light won't be very even - you'll have hot spots directly under the lights with dark areas in between.
