How much are these Bench Grinders worth?

Have been thinking to let go of these two bench grinders, and finally got time to take pictures. Wondering how much I can get out of each of these bench grinders. Both of these are in working condition. Apologies if there is already info out there regarding these, as I could not find much.

I am not a machinist or work in trades. No real need for me to hold onto these bench grinders. Can use some cash for the upcoming holiday season. Located in central Ohio btw.

1. Rockwell Single Voltage Grinder - runs smooth and coasts to a stop when turned off
2. Ashland Bench Grinder Model 1780 - runs good

Thanks in advance

I dunno about 'true market value,' but my opinion is, 'how-bad do you wanna hold-onto 'em?' I'd say fifty bucks is ok both sides of the deal, seventy-five if you want to sit on 'em.

I'd think $50-75 ea would be what they'd sell for. The problem is they're not Baldor, and they're 3-4A grinders; meaning, not very powerful. There's no shortage of similar import grinders, new, for $50-150. Yes, I know these are "vintage" USA, blah, blah, blah.... But the reality is you can get an 8" 5A Bauer at HF for $140

Have no idea what they're worth I'd be inclined to say under $100 for sure but that Rockwell is "sort of" a Baldor, even says so on the plate (Baldor motor). Could be worth a bit more to right buyer.

ETA this 1/3hp Rockwell was listed at $200 but sold for undisclosed best offer. It seems to be in nicer condition and includes shields etc. https://www.ebay.com/itm/1158580681...v7XKG0YWg81/zkm00BsUSw+3g=|tkp:Bk9SR7qPidyGYw

In the Chicago area there are so many used grinders available that the pricing is depressed. That Rockwell (made by Baldor) commands about $150 on the auction site but would get less than $100 locally. It's a very heavy grinder (for its size) due to the cast iron guards and motor end bells. I had one a few years ago and it was an excellent smooth-running grinder for general use. The 6-inch wheels are readily available and run at the optimum speed for ferrous grinding.

That Ashland was sold thru S&H Green Stamps over 50 years ago and is just a toy. Shaded pole motor--like an old phonograph uses--and no power. I owned one just like it when I went away to college and it's not worth much, but maybe $10-20 since it is essentially NIB.

The rockwell is decent, about $50 for it to sell, $75 to $100 if you want to sit on it for a few months until someone who really needs a grinder NOW will take it. The Ashland, as exmaxima1 said, is nothing and will bring $25 on a very good day, $15 more typical.

The Rockwell is under powered but a really well built grinder. Somewhere between $50 to $100 depending on how long you want it to sit around. The Ashland is worse than even Harbor Frought. I'd be surprised if you could get $20.
