2015 was a huge year, for me, in tool/garage purchases. Easily the most expensive. In tools I count all types-hand, power, gas powered, lawn care, etc.

Most notable from most to least expensive were:

Kubota BX25D-1 and Land Pride RB0560
Generac 6590 Pressure Washer
Black Pipe Air Lines Installed
Forney 130FI Wire Welder
Echo 225VP PAS w/Trimmer and Edger
Echo CS-400 Chainsaw
26pc Craftsman Combination Wrench Sets (Metric and Inch)
Metal Man Automatic Welding Helmet
Wheeler Firearms FAT 1/4" Torque Wrench

Just under $19,000 (tractor is financed, though).

What did you get? I need to start my want list for 2016!!!!

The big purchases this year where a Miller 211, a 3 ton ratcheting arbor press from a buddy and a port a torch. Otherwise general tool spending was way down, just random things here and there. I could pad my total by including the garden tractor

Maybe a grand. Until I pickup a new hobby - I have every tool I can think of buying. Feels... peaceful. I guess I do want a welder in 2016 however....

How much? Isn't it best not to keep track so when spouse ask how much, you can honestly say "I'm not sure" :rocker:

Me, too much and not enough. Good thing there's always next year.

Ballparking around $5k on the Snap-on truck.

I stopped looking at my invoices and price checking, I take whatever I want off the truck and drop $100 weekly. Looking forward to the SEP so I can walk away with more tools!

I did a quick tally and realized I've purchased $1500+ in tools this year. I've been rebuilding my tool collection since we bought our house. This year will probably amount to a fair bit less. I have most of what I need, so I'm mostly just filling in/refining.

I think we all would be shocked if we sat down and added it all up. I give 100 a week to Snap On and keep going. Been that way for years now. I traded in for new box this year, got a new Solus scanner and TPMS tool as well so that was a ton added to my balance. There is also the home shop and a lot of trips to Home Depot, Harbor Freight, Northern and the local pawn shop now and then. I am just lucky to have a wife who has never said one word about what I spend on tools each week plus the other purchases here and there. It helps me earn my living and has for over 30 years. As for what you spend on tools there is a lot of want that is not need lol

This was the first year that the Snappy didn't automatically get $100 weekly after 15 years. Most of the time didn't even know how much I owed at the time. I didn't care too much because it was truck account so no interest. Now I only see Snappy a handful of times a year for warranty then I uselly make an impluse buy. I have a Mac man now stopping at work, but rarely find anything on his truck I need. Ordering from him takes a ****'s age.
