I was reading some application notes on U-Coat-It's website and they say the pot life is around 1 hour. Now I've never rolled out an area bigger than a few bedroom walls with a roller before, and had hours to do that. About how many square feet of floor can you roll out in 1 hour without having to sprint it?

I did about 425 square with Rust Oleum in just under over an hour with a 9" roller. If you used an 18" roller, I would guess that you'd be in the 1 hour range for 800 sf. Other option is to have someone competent that you trust rolling it out at the same time. You have to have a balance between speed and quality.

Well I'm planning on epoxying a 30x36 garage this summer/fall. Interior square footage is 1015 sq.ft. Then I have to factor time in for edging. I think this might be a 4 person job.

I'd avoid the heat of mid summer. Heat dramatically shortens pot life / working time. Push to get it done yet this spring or wait until early fall. You want it to be cool but not so cool that a freeze is possible.

I did 500 sf (cutting in edges with a brush and adding flakes)in about 1-1/2 hours on a cool night. The pot life wasnt a problem due to the temp

I won't have the concrete poured until probably July, so I'll wait to do it this fall. I'll figure at least 2 people then, maybe a third on standby. Now I just have to figure out if I want Medium Gray w/blue flakes, or black and white checkered pattern....

From a practical daily use standpoint, go with the light gray. The black will constantly be showing dirt. It will also show every scratch. I have a dark red and wish I had gone with light gray.
